You can’t deny the similarities between the two “love stories” but still, there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Twilight was written to be a sweet and compelling love story while Tate/Violet was intentionally written to be creepy and sick.

One of my problems with Tate being the Rubber Man is this scene. It doesn’t make any sense.

… Don’t get me wrong, I still love his character, it’s just a lot to take in in only one episode, even if we suspected they were one and only for a while now.
I really hoped RM was going to throw something different in the mix, just like he did for the first seven episodes.

Oh god, RM-> Rubber Man -> Ryan Murphy.
Rubber Man is so obviously a Gary Stu.

I’m not sure how I survived yesterday’s episode, WTF?! Why did you do this to me? I wanted to live forever in my ignorant bubble where Tate and that gimp suit NEVER EVER had something to do with each other.
I HATE YOU RYAN MURPHY, I HATE YOU.

So… If Tate is the Rubber Man (and I really hope he’s not), considering he should be around 30 if he wasn’t dead, maybe that’s why he went after Vivian and not Violet? I mean, obviously when in the Suit Tate is not the Tate we know, so maybe it’s like his split personality that knows he is a ghost?
Or maybe he just went to Vivian because she was the safest bet if his intent was really for her to become pregnant?

Anyway, if Tate really ends up being the Rubber Man I’m gonna slide to the floor and melt in a puddle of disappointment.

I didn’t really have any expectations for American Horror Story but I was a little bit curious so I watched it and now I love it! Just enough scariness and creepiness
